And this is why people go fucking nuts over New York City...

Because they have shit like this, while we have the "waterfront redevelopment project."

C'mon Toronto STEP YOUR FUCKING GAME UP!

The New York highline redevelopment project was commisioned by the municipal government of New York City to NY based architect Diller & Scofidio as an attempt to redesign the elevated rail lines that were created throughout New York in the 1930's and used until the mid 1980's. Now converted into a walkway, the New York Highline's will feature rural terrain elevated above the commonly urban street of NYC and feature a variety of park benches, walkways and resting areas for pedestrians to wander through and enjoy.

It's undeniably true

Marriage is like that show Everybody Loves Raymond, but its not funny. All the problems are the same, but...you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense.

Marriage is just like a tense, unfunny episode of Everybody Loves Raymond except it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever

And the most important post of the night

Goes out to some of the most fun and hilarious shit I've seen coming out of my city in a long....long time. Peter Franco Sneakers mixes up with a Michael Jackson shoutout to put together one of the best t-shirts I could've possible imagined. If you don't plan on buying this, go sit in a corner.

Peter Franco Sneakers is a local Toronto-based company that's just getting it's website up and running in the coming weeks and if you're not on it during the day of launch, I'll be more than dissappointed in you.

And clothes aside, from an aesthetic standpoint, this guy has put together one of the smoothest and most well designed web pages I have ever seen. Peter Franco Sneaker's currently has it's shit on lock.

Drop party for the online store release is coming up on Thursday, April 23rd so clear your schedule and get your ass down to Octopus Lounge at 293 Palmerston Ave. @ College St. No fucking cover. You'll be able to preview some of the upcoming PFS line and drink away your futures. Props to my man Willis for putting all of this together. One of the hardest working dudes I know.

WANT...WANT...WANT...NOW!

It's time like this I'm sad I've got no cartilage in my left knee anymore...

Or the money to have my house turned into this.

But fuck this is awesome. Serious props are deserved for the guys and girls over at Archvirus for putting this together. Legitimately a skateboarders dream

Not to revisit this whole thing everyone's been doing

What with half the fucking world being on Terry Richardson's dick every moment of every day.
But seriously...this rules.
Terry Richardson recently teamed up with V Magazine to do a photoshoot with well known New York model Anna Selezneva. It featured her wandering through a wax museum, posing with the wax incarnations of the some of the most famous and infamous celebrities America ever produced

The results were absolutely fucking spectacular....

NEED THESE FOR THE CONDO!!11!1!

The Hil Chair was designed by Armadaquadrat and I have decided NEED to exist in my life when me and Elliot get our condo in June.

The Hil Chair is made from black or colored acrylic and acrylic glass. There are two versions, each available in 7 colors. The main features are the transparent seat and the reflective surface of the backrest.

These things are so full of rad that it's Rad/Matter ratio is such that it might fucking explode.

Just Hangin' out

Interior lighting designers Murano due recently put together what is, in my opinion some of the coolest pieces to ever be featured in a home. Believe me, if I had the money for these they would be illuminating every square inch of my house.

This particular design (pictured above) is called the "Anthea" and was put together by designer Francesco Toscano and can be found on the Murano due website.

One of my other favorite pieces (pictured above) was designed in 2006 by Patrick Jouin and is called the "Ether Hanging Lamp." Definitely one of the more mind-blowing options for lighting your living room up.

This town will be the downfall of us ALL!

Probably one of the most mindblowing and hilarious, yet simultaneously perfect cover songs I've heard in a long while, A Day To Remember does a seemingly flawless adaption of The Frays "Over My Head (Cable Car)" for the hilarious, but far from perfect "Punk Goes Pop 2" album.

Hot off the release of their 3rd full length studio album, entitled "Homesick," these 5 guys from Ocla, Florida have managed to flood everyone's imaginations with their incorporation of crushingly heavy breakdowns typical to the metalcore genre and smash it headon with some of the catchiest pop-punk choruses in the industry.

They even managed to take a Kelly Clarkson song (their popular cover of "Since U Been Gone") and make it something you want to punch someone in the face to. And not only that, but they actually achieved relatively significant airtime on MTV2 for their corresponding video

You can download ADTR's cover of Over My Head (Cable Car) at http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?oonmuyayjty

Also, shoutouts to some insane production. Just listen to that Asian flute kill it

U-Min has also got to be on of the most ridiculous pop/lock crews around.

Expect me to post more videos of them later.

Unfortunately there's nowhere you can actually check out U-Min's S*@# except a few spot on youtube and google. Do some searching.

Shoutouts to the late...GREAT...

Stephen Sprouse.

Louis Vitton and their current lead collaborator Marc Jacobs have teamed up to pay homage to one of their previous designers Stephen Sprouse. Stephen was notorious for having helped create the fashionably sensible/punk style mashup of the 1980's.

His initial venture into fashion production began with his line of clothing that brought high end fashion and combined it with large graffiti style pieces. Although adored by critics and sold in exclusively high end boutiques, he claimed bacnkruptcy in June of 1985.

He was eventually tapped by Louis Vitton to do a collaboration with Marc Jacobs to design for a series of bags, which were once again adored by critics and sold out almost instantly.

Sprouse inevitably passed away in 2004 from Lung cancer. He was 50.

Dear Joshua...your Mini-feed can suck it

I'ma UPDATE WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT!

Anyways...on to some more important news.
Vans has recently tapped Juxtapoz magazine founder and notorious low-brow artist Robert William's to design for their 2009 "Vault Series" on both their Chukka and Era style shoes.

I'm backing both choices as my shoe collection pretty much consists of a pair of Osiris skate shoes, and about 17 Vans Chukkas or Eras.

Although not yet released in stores or available online for purchase, you can check out the Vans X Robert Williams and other Vans S*@# at http://www.vans.com/vans/intl.html
